Saturday the 13th of August the band took part in the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow. In the morning we played our qualifying round and with success. The band qualified with a 1st and 3rd for piping, 6st for drumming and 8th for ensemble. A big achievement for the band, it has been the first time we qualified at the Worlds in Grade 4A.
The afternoon brought a very solid run and again with good placings we can satisfied with. The band finished 8th overall in a strong field of a total of 28 bands.
