Last Saturday the band competed in sunny North Berwick and won both the open and confined competition in grade 4A. With straight firsts for piping and ensemble it has been a brilliant day and the band can now focus on this Saturday’s World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow.
On Saturday the band took part in the European Pipe Band Championships in Forres. Under cloudy but warm conditions the band played well and finished 4th overall with a first placing for piping of one of the judges. A massive achievement for the band since we have been working hard over the past year.
